Congratulations to Daniil Serko, whose paper was accepted in Developmental Science! We investigated pre-decisional information search in 2- to 4-year-olds and found that young children select relevant cues when looking for a hidden reward. Credits also went to Yi-Lin Li, Nora Swaboda, our former PhD student, and Azzurra Ruggeri.

Congratulations to Paula Fischer, who was awarded the Laura Bassi Scholarship! She will continue her ongoing research into how children develop adaptive social skills, specifically focusing on the mechanisms that enable children to flexibly interpret and communicate social rules across diverse contexts.

We are honored to be one of the inaugural recipients of the Alliance for Decision Education Research Grant! The grant funds studies that work towards the Alliance’s goal of building the evidence base for Decision Education by addressing key research gaps, and generating insights that demonstrate the impact on students’ lives, inform policy, and drive effective implementation in schools nationwide.
